Hello, readers! Welcome back to this week’s Trailer Tuesday. Obviously, with the Super Bowl coming up this Sunday, studios are holding off until then to show off their bigger releases for the year, so this week’s trailer offering features some smaller releases.
First up, Khris Davis and Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker take on the life of the legendary world heavyweight boxing champion and grill machine extraordinaire George Foreman in Big George Foreman. Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal faces off against the Taliban to rescue an Afghan interpreter who previously saved his life during an ambush in Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant. In Moving On, Academy Award winner Jane Fonda and Academy Award nominee Lily Tomlin play estranged friends who reunite to enact revenge against a friend’s widower for wronging them in the past. And lastly, in My Happy Ending, Andie MacDowell plays a famous actress who goes incognito for her cancer treatment, and ends up forming a bond with three fellow cancer battlers.
