Hello, readers! Welcome to 2023! With a whole new year ahead of us comes a whole new slate of movies, and today features five trailers for your viewing pleasure.
First up, Adam Driver plays a pilot who finds himself stranded back in time 65 million years ago in the sci-fi thriller 65. Academy Award winners Diane Keaton, Mary Steenburgen, Jane Fonda and Academy Award nominee Candice Bergen reunite for a girls’ trip in Italy in the sequel Book Club: The Next Chapter. In A Good Person, Academy Award nominee Florence Pugh seeks to recover from her involvement in a fatal car wreck, which leads to an unlikely bond with Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman as her would-be father-in-law. A vacationing family is held hostage by a group of strangers, led by Dave Bautista, who are bent on preventing the end of the world by any means necessary in M. Night Shyamalan’s Knock at the Cabin. And lastly, in Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan returns with an all-star cast, led by Cillian Murphy, to tell the story of J. Robert Oppenheimer and his world-changing creation of the atomic bomb.
